Home - Ministries - Harvest Kids
To Glorify God by helping parents lead their children to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ.
Harvest Kids provides care and spiritual direction for children from birth to Grade 5. Our objective is to complement and support the primary leadership of parents and guardians in the home by providing a learning environment that is supported by the four pillars of Harvest Bible Chapel. We seek to fulfill the four pillars in a way that is engaging for children at various stages of physical, mental, social and spiritual development.
NURSERY – TODDLER
This is our community for children from Birth to 3 years old. It is our goal in this ministry to help children and families understand that Jesus needs to be the foundation for life from the earliest days in the church. Children will see the love of Christ gently modeled through volunteers who care for their needs, simply share God’s word and through the safe, fun, environment in which they play and learn. Children will discover what the Bible says is the bedrock of our beliefs as followers of Christ. They will have opportunity to learn, worship and explore in both small and large group settings through relevant, purposeful and engaging activities.
JK – GRADE 2
Junior Kindergarten to Grade 2 students discover how and why they should build their lives on the Rock: Jesus Christ! SK – Grade 2 classes start with some pre-activities. From there they move to a time of large group worship, followed by a time of teaching from God's Word and memory work.
GRADE 3 – GRADE 5
Grade 3 – Grade 5 students discover how and why they should build their lives on the Rock: Jesus Christ! Grade 3–5 classes also start with some pre-activities, from there they move to a time of large group worship, followed by a time of teaching from God's Word and memory work. The morning wraps up with a small group discussion, and a time of prayer. On the last Sunday of every month, we give students in Grades 3-5 the opportunity to attend Worship Services with their parents in the main Worship Center so that they can experience worship and teaching with their larger church family, with a view to making this eventual transition easier.
